Beach Blanket Bing-OW!

The print on Connie’s top should tell you just how long ago made this for me. The untimely death of , great guy and steward of the woman putting the hurt on my girl, caused me to shelve the picture, and I’ve never really felt like posting it. Still don’t, really, but on the other hand, it’s a fun piece of art for both fans of Fantastic Lin and the Crimson Conservative.

Vince and I were working on a story to go along with my idea for the picture when he passed, one which would have had two of the strongest female powerhouses in sizing one another up, challenging the other to a physical competition, and ending in a near draw (Lin would have come out just a tad on top). One interesting fact is that in our correspondences I postulated that in terms of pure muscle, if Lin was a 10, Connie would be a 9.9, and Vince agreed, meaning (in my mind) that the Crimson Conservative is one of the most powerful beings in the Angel Falls setting in terms of brute strength.

After Vince died I was planning on the story ending with Connie leaving Lin standing on the beach, the setting sun haloing Lin as she told Connie that she looked forward to them meeting again. Connie would have shrugged, saying, “Never know what the future’s gonna bring…”

You know what? For get about all that “was going to” stuff; something tells me that did happen, after all…

On a technical note, the Crimson Conservative looks a bit large here, even for her. I suspect the angle and depth of the picture has something to do with that, and perhaps the Connie model is a little big, the Lin one a little small--Connie’s a behemoth, alright, but “only” nine-feet-tall. This is still a great picture by *Supro3D, and I recommend dropping by his page and seeing if you might want to commission him.
