Hyper Con, Paudraic’s Getaway…
Republicat heard the slap of bare feet so large they could only belong to her friend and partner in crime fighting, and looked up to find the Crimson Conservative had been good to her word; the nine-foot supersoldier was no longer topless but for a pair of WOW stickers over her nipples, and had indeed changed her clothes.
The feline/human hybrid still had to shake her head, though.
“Much better,” RC sighed, reading the words on the front of the redhead’s tight briefs. She was a Rush Limbaugh listener (though not to the extent of her friend), and thus did not need to see the words printed on the woman’s muscular posterior to know what they were.
Connie, seeing many eyes on her already, struck a pose in the middle of the convention hall. “Not bad, if I do say so myself. So, what were you saying ‘bout visiting those rugrats?” She popped a Lucky in her mouth and lit up after speaking, then grinned at the amount of people pointing cameras her way and snapping pictures.
Republicat’s eyes flicked in the direction of Room D3, which, she knew, was being filled with orphans waiting to meet their favorite supers, then looked the smoking giantess up and down. “Uh, yeah… you know what? I’m sure they can wait for you; why don’t I head in there, and you can… um…” A group of scantily-clad young women complaining in front of some news cameras caught Republicat’s super-sensitive feline ears, and an idea struck her. Sorry, girls, she thought, but pointed a finger and said, “Hey, those aren’t members of Geeks for CONsent, are they?”
Connie spotted the members of the feminist group across the hall, and a gleam flashed in her eye. “Tell the kids I said ‘hi,’” the right-wing loudmouth said, and with one of her trademark smirks she reserved for when the opportunity to make trouble presented itself, started towards the activists.
Republicat winced, but then looked again towards the room that would house the gathering of orphans waiting to have their spirits lifted by meeting their favorite superhero personalities. A little girl being led inside happened to turn her head and see her. “Kitty!” she cried out, and pulled against the adult holding her hand, pointing at RC with her free hand and squealing in glee.
I think we‘re both gonna have fun here in our own ways, Connie, Republicat thought as she started purring, and hurried off to make some children’s day.

Comments welcome, even if it’s to tell me your opinion of “sexual harassment” at comic conventions; Geeks for CONsent is a real organization, and as I don’t know too much about the con scene, can’t tell if they have a legitimate complaint or are just busy-body malcontents pushing the feminist agenda where nobody wants it.
